  I am a parent of two child who have and still attend rio vista. Both of my kids love the teachers, staff, students here. The teachers are absolutely the best. They work with you and your student. They go above and beyond. Rio Vista is a Gold Ribbon School for a reason! The principal has the biggest heart. She is what Rio Vista needed. A new leader and she's doing just that. Some people like and can handle change while others seem to be stuck in their ways(parents not staff). This is a great place to have your child start their early education.

  We start 7 years ago with our children in the beginning everything work out ok , but around 3 years ago a lot of families decide to move to another school , when Mrs. de Armas was there people ask for help and you get one, now you have a problem with a teacher and you want your kid to be moved to another class and the principal give you a lot of excuses , do not talk bad about one of the teacher because she will defend it and ignore you, as you are a kid from Rio Vista. They send my son to another class and the teacher accused my son in front of my wife to be stealing things from the teacher class my wife she pick up the back pack and she took everything out from inside the only thing he had was those sticky note and it was only 20 of them. Some teachears they are great and they know how to get to the kid but they have a couple ones they are like rotten apple.Some teachers they hate when you complaint about others kids specially if this one is a favorite of this teacher your kid will be the troublemaker, also the girls they do the yard duty they are very unpleasant , a lot of complaint from kids to this people. I rate this school very low no for all of them just because some of them, they cover the bad things that rotten apple do.On Friday after the graduation my son Ethan told me that two girls in the school the was doing bully to him , Ethan is a very loyal kid he doesn't care much about bully kids I told him how long was this trouble and he told me for at least 6 months but he doesn't want to say something because he doesn't worry to us, any way I talk to his Teacher Mrs. Titiriga,she make those girls to apologies to my son but she didn't stop the award on the graduation day one of them for be a example leader " leader of what bully " same Friday Mrs. Hutt which is a very vulgar woman , my wife went to the school to deliver the lunch of my daughter she was in kindergarten to be more precise Mrs. Goss class and she came over to her and told in front of some kids and my daughter you are a disgusting woman and also say get out of here this is my place , Mrs Goss never have a problem with us but she doesn't have the gut to say or do something which make a person with out personality , my wife told Mrs. Goss and she respond sorry I do not want to get involve, I told Mrs. Nolte, that I will do everything on my power to make her get fired or removed from Rio Vista in Santa Clarita CA. Also I went to the Sheriff Dept, to put a civil restraining orders which I have to wait until end of the vacation to do it because the recess.If Iput one star last week now and give 0 because Mrs . Hutt vulgar and psychotic and they do not do anything about bully a lot of mothers in a meeting told Mrs. Nolte about
  the girls how they bully the kid but since to me that she doesn't care Mrs Hartshorne very upset because they put one more kid in her class and she doesn't get paid more, and very low criteria when is about a kid of that age . Many people maybe ask why we stay there for 7 years because before Mrs. Isa de Armas help to find the problem besides the bad element should retired , I live only mile and a half from the school I should go no where.
